Tubesday.

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything on here.
Most of that is due to me being away for nearly two weeks and the rest of it is down to laziness!
Not you typical Tubesday today as I've seen some awesome videos on Vimeo as well, so I've posted them at the bottom as well!

I clicked the link for this trailer from Val Vargas' twitter and then kind of forgot about it but remember about it the other day.
It's a pretty cool series and I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of them.

I've been pretty slack with the camera this week.
I shot this back on Monday, when we still had sunshine, it's been cloudy/raining the rest of the week.
I've been loving the low sunlight recently and having put my 50mm f1.8 on the other week, its stayed on there and i forgot how much i love it!!

More Cool Stuff

It's amazing the amount of stuff that is available at our disposal these days.
Having just got back from town, I did the usual check the ole Facebook and Twitter and it came up trumps with a couple of cool pieces.
One being an edit of my favourite rider, by a long way, Ruben Alcantara. The other being a collection of WWII photos in colour, shot on the greatest film ever made, Kodachrome.

Some Interesting Articles

Through this wonderful medium that is the internet, I've read some pretty interesting things lately.
There is so much stuff, good and bad, out there that it can be a little overwhelming sometimes. This is by no means a definitive guide to anything, just a selection of articles I've read that I've found pretty cool and thought I would share.

Piers Cunliffe Interview

I have always had the thought of using this blog as a way to give friends of mine a bit of coverage when it comes to getting their names out and helping them.

I met Piers at uni in my first year on the ski trip and we quickly found we had a hell of a lot in common.
Having spent enough time with him, climbing, skiing, printing photos in the darkrooms or even just chatting shit with a cuppa in hand, I have to say he is one of the most self motivated people I know.
Be kind this is the first interview I've done, its nothing serious, just finding out a bit more about Piers.

Troublesome Tubesday.

These riots really are a piece of shit. It's all fucking rediculous, mindless violence for the sake of it with 'getting our taxes back', 'coz we're poor and haven't got nuffin, like, innit' and 'showing the cops that we can do what we want' being used as excuses.... yay for England! Morons.

Less of that though, its been a decent week in the world of my Youtube viewing, here are my highlights!

Alright kids.
Sorry for the lateness of this, was feeling pretty shite yesterday and kinda forgot to do this, but here it is, just a day later.
I was at 'AwesomeFest' at the weekend, which was, well, awesome!
A mixture of Drift cars, Moto-X, BMX and decent music. Wasn't quite a car show and wasn't quite a Festival. Either way, it was dope, and I got very very sunburnt. So here are some tribute videos.
(I think this is just giving me more reasons to want to go to Japan!)
